I’m currently working really hard on making some new bags, and there’s already a couple listed in the shop (follow the link on the sidebar) for you to have a look at. 

My current range is called “Clever with a Needle” and the bags incorporate retro embroidery designs along with gorgeous fabrics to create a unique and individual handbag…that only you will own!  But as you can understand, hand embroidering bag panels takes time, so please be patient with me…and keep checking the shop.

The Floral Pink Bag is a sturdy tote, made from a strong canvas material and lined with Alexander Henry’s ‘Buffet’ fabric for a touch of retro goodness. This bag features an external pocket in Amy Butler fabric, and an internal polka dot phone pocket. Measures 9″ x 12.5″ x 1.5″. Perfect as a book bag, nappy bag, or just to carry everything (but the kitchen sink) in!

I must have been having a “gracious” afternoon yesterday, because the terribly elegant Yellow and Toile bag emerged (along with Tea and Roses). I love toile, and here I’ve combined it with a mustard patterned cotton, and added a pocket featuring a kitty with a duck (I don’t trust that kitty though!) The bag measures 10″ x 16″ x 1.5″. This bag is lined with a co-ordinating black and white cotton and has a toile pocket and a magnetic closure. Buy this one for your mum, she’ll love you! (Well, more than usual.) Or buy it for you, I don’t mind.

This one is very girly and a little bit old fashioned! The Tea and Roses bag is a bucket bag, with removable bamboo handles (for washing). It has an internal pocket and measures 7″ x 9″ x 2.5 and is waiting to come with you to your next tea party!

Everyone loves little birds…is it because they can fly and we can’t? Is it because they’re little and delicate and sweet and we’re not? Not sure, but I love little birds, and I love this Alexander Henry fabric, so I made a shoulder bag. The Bird Seed tote features a patchwork style front panel, an internal phone pocket, and is lined in aqua polked dotted fabric. It measures 14″ (w) x 10″ (h) x 3″ and is waiting to fly your way and carry your precious things! Tweet!
